Phoenix 3.5

Post by Aayan »

Hello,
I am new to this forum and i will make a Phoenix 3.5 soon
i have two questions the first is:
Should i use the diagrams in kamiya's new book ?
or
Should i use tadashi mori's video tutorial

the second question is
i have no paper available where i live so i usually make models by gluing foil to a4 paper
but i think that will be too thick for the phoenix so can i use tracing paper?
thanks in advance

Use the diagrams in the book, they are the official way to fold the Phoenix, and will make it look most like Satoshi's. I would suggest using tracing paper (the a4 will be too thick). If you need paper, you could always order over the internet.

If you succeed with A4, you'll end up with an approximately 3" wingspan model.
I also do card models -- http://cutfoldpaste.blogspot.com

Folded it with 2 sheets of a4 taped together I am satiasfied with the size so I will use the two a4 tracing papers taped together for my final fold
