Brian chan's Wolf Spider, step 18 "Crimp"

Hello fellow folders, im struggling with step 18 "Crimp" on "Wolf spider" model by Brian chan, i have seen other posts about this topic but i couldn't find anything that could help me.
If you could let me know if any of these is the correct way of doing so i couldn't thank you more! If its not either way, show me the right one ill be happy to know. :mrgreen:

I don't know how it should be really done, but well, if I was you, I'd do the second one, so if need to use any of the layers involved there, it'll be easier for you to fold than the first one. I feel like the only difference there is that if you fold it as the first, some flap won't open (i'm not sure at all, let's see other responses), but with that paper you're using, it won't make any difference. So yeah, do the second one ^^
