Stellated Cubocta. (Robert J. Lang)

Hi, I'm reading the book "The Complete Book of Origami" of Robert Lang. I have a problem with Stellated Cubocta steps 13 and 14. I don't understand what I have to do D: And I don't know if I fold correctly in step 12:

Step 13 basically means "collapse all at once". you could probably break it down to smaller steps. So start with the two short valley diagonals (the ones that are almost vertical), then the horizontal valley and finally (but almost at the same time as the previous step) the two long diagonals (the ones that are almost horizontal). At doing so some other paper layers will move along. let them do it.

As for the picture of step 12 I haven't folded the model so I could not tell you.
