Help butterfly diagrams

Post by cvbfe »

I want to origami some different butterflies for a project on my degree, but the diagrams I have used so far have not worked. I am a beginner to origami but have practised lots! Please can anyone help with easy to follow diagrams/instructions that turn into a nice looking butterflies.

Many Thanks

There's a nice traditional Butterfly on Dave Petty's Origami Page here:

You can also find some butterflies of different complexity levels if you search for "Butterfly" here: http://dev.origami.com/diagram.cfm
So long and keep folding ^_^

Thank you very much for your help. I shall get folding.

I did see that Michael Lafosse has a dvd called 'Origami Butterflies and Moths' but as far as I can tell it is only available in the US if anyone knows if/where I can get in in the UK I would be very grateful.

Many thanks
