Hi, I'm a long-time origamist with an admittedly very small repertoire (i.e. I am an expert in 'crane' and 'box'). I'm interested in making little Egyptian obelisks via origami. I can't find anything about this with a google search? Does anyone know of any designs? Or is there some way I could make my own design??
Thanks,

Re: Egyptian Obelisk?
You may have heard of the book Origami Design Secrets be Robert Lang. It takes lots of time to read especially if english is not your mother tongue. In fact I am still not finished reading it. Anyway, it teaches the main ideas of origami design and some essential techniques. If you think you are experienced enough for it, you can read it and start designing your own models. You would probably forget about the obelisk by the time you finish reading that book but who cares about an obelisk when you can design anything, right?
