Help needed with Biernacki's Mammoth and Carboni's Dragon

Post by BorisG »

Good day,

I'm stuck in two models simultaneously and would appreciate your help. These don't seem to be difficult spots, but I'm baffled :)

1) Biernacki's Mammoth step 37: when you lift the upper flap in step 36, the diagram shows the lower part to be twice as narrow as it was when the model was last flipped (step 33). When was I supposed to narrow that part, and in what way?

2) Daniela Carboni's Little dragon (from License to fold), step 17 - I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with the tail part of the model. The text says reverse fold, but the folds shown aren't from a reverse fold (I think), and reversing would result in a colour change, which isn't supposed to happen, according to the next step. Besides, the vertical valley fold shown is not one line: the angle bisector doesn't coincide with the height of that small triangle above it.

Sorry if those are stupid questions...

for the Mammoth: you narrow those flaps in step 6-7, where you bisect the raw edges.
