What should I diagram next?

So I'm taking a hiatus from creating new origami models until I get some inspiration back. But I don't want to separate myself too much from origami.

So I came up with a solution: I'm going to diagram another model from my catalog. Here are the choices I have come up with:

20. Heart-struck (simple) Easier than Lang's but no color change

28. Snail 2.0 (simple) Easy model to make

33. Trigonal Bipyramid (simple) The simplest of the bunch. Hollow inside

41. Lotus (intermediate) A lot of "repeat on all sides" steps, for those who like a non focus intensive model.

44. Brittle Star (simple) Made from a pentagon

50. New Traditional Goldfish (low intermediate) More difficult than Tokinobu's Goldfish in Origami Under the Sea, but the dimensions are closer to the traditional model

52. Crab 2.0 (high intermediate) The longest of the models to fold, requires tissue foil or better to make.

53. Owl Mask (simple) Made from an equilateral triangle. It will take some extra time to figure out what size paper is needed for a wearable model.

61. Spoon (low intermediate) Difficulty is due to the use of aluminum foil or another metal for authenticity.

The pictures of each of these models can be found on my Flickr:

You can vote up to 3 times, can change votes if need be and there's no time limit on the voting. After a week or so I'll see how many votes have been submitted. Runaway takes it, but ties require another vote. However, if second is a easy model to diagram I might do both.

Please be aware that the more complex the model is, the more time it will take to diagram.

I'd say brittle star, spoon, or crab :)

Ok, I just voted. Is the spoon in your Flickr album? I couldn't find it.

What a weird name "new traditional..." I loved the contradiction in it ;).

Also, is Fat Man a man that's fat or what is that? I was really intrigued :).

And I loved Setting Sail! Had you already diagramed that one?

Yes, sorry. I put up the url to my origami album, which hasn't been updated recently. Here's the link to my photostream, you can see the spoon from there:

The traditional goldfish is a classic origami model, but in modern time breaks the taboo of cutting. The "new" traditional goldfish fixes that while trying to maintain the elegance and simple look of the original.

"Fat Man" is the codename of one of the atomic devices developed during the Manhattan Project, so called because of its stout, rotund shape. If you're interested in its development there are many resources online.

And yes, Setting Sail is indeed diagrammed along with several other models of mine. I posted them here:

Okay so it seems that the runaway winner is the crab. I'll start the diagrams shortly, but please be aware that this is a complex model and will take some time.

While I'm busy making the crab diagrams, I resubmitted the poll, so you can choose what I should diagram next!

Hey everyone sorry for the long wait on the diagrams!

The Crab diagram is still about one third done. I have work related issues and have little money to buy new material for a reference model. I will get that done eventually I promise!

The topic of this post however is the Origami Christmas Book for 2015. I'm submitting several short diagrams and CPs, many of which were in the poll.

The ones so far are a special Christmas CP for the Lotus flower, which was the second most requested model after the crab, as well as a diagram for both the Trigonal Bipyramid and the Snail, which I have given a makeover that I believe you'll all enjoy.

I may also be adding one or two more models to the book along with these if I can (don't worry the Crab model won't be an Xmas exclusive).

So if you want to see those three models (and maybe more!) submit to the Christmas Book!
