Due Cigni by David Derudas

Post by ondine »

Hi, I'm stuck progressing from step 12 to 13...specifically, in step 13, that left most white vertical swan neck, isn't the color nor shape I can get from step 12...

Everything else matches up to the diagrams up til this step 13...

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks!

Hello,

Haven't folded this design myself, yet. But judging from the diagram and your description, I would expect, that you did a complete reverse fold in step 12.
Instead you just have to reverse fold the first layer to achieve the color change and keep the shape.

BTW: Google translates the text of step 12 with:
"Return (Reverse) only the first layer"

Good luck!

THANK YOU SO MUCH Splunge!!

I didn't understand that 'return' means reverse fold.

I have completed the model now after being stumped for a month!!

Thanks again and happy folding :)
