Help with Fujimoto Tessellation
Posted: June 3rd, 2006, 7:52 pm
Hello Everyone,
This is my first post on the forum. I have already folded the 3 stage tessellation but am confused on the later stages:
1. How can a paper be folded into 40 equal parts? For that matter even 24?
2. Is there a way to figure out the dimension of the paper before and after folding? For eg.: With a 12" square paper, folded into the 5 stage tessellation will yield how big a model?
Any help is greatly appreciated. I have posted the link at the end of this message
Thanks & regards,
