Unicorn Dong Viet Thien

Post by Lexigon5 »

Hi everyone.
There is a three part video on Youtube for this model but part 2 starts well in advance of part 1

Could anyone point me to where I can find a book containing instructions for this model so that I can fill in the gaps.

Thank you.

It doesn't seem like any diagrams exist, however a crease pattern can be found here, on Dong Viet Thien's facebook page.

EDIT: I checked the video tutorial you are talking about, and it appears part two is a bit jumbled - what should be the first part starts at 14:52 minutes in (the top comment on the video provides a link to that point of the video).

Ah great. So it is all there. just in the wrong place.
He must have done the video in more parts and joined in the wrong order.

I will crack on with this then.

Thank you

Hi guys. I might also fold this model. Is it possible to fold it without needing MC or a layer of foil, just a really good paper?

Did you finally fold it Lexigon5? Would you please share a picture? What suggestions do you have for someone attempting to fold it?

Thanks in advance :).

No mc or foil required, I've folded this from just about everything. Better paper helps, mc or foil also helps. I still haven't mastered the shaping but here are a few of my earlier attempts.

There is also another tutorial besides the three parter here
