Help with Pig!

Post by blue0moon »

I need to build this for a project I am working on but can't get past the third step
It needs to be this specific pig, unfortunately I can't use one that is a little more simple.
Could someone help me? I would be so so thankful! See below for instructions.

It will likely help to precrease these folds before making the entire collapse. The diagrams mention a windmill base (though I can't quite make out all the text), so it might help to look into those as well.
After the fall, we rise.

The text for set 3 reads "Partial Windmill Base. Allow blintzed corners to swing forward." The latter is the secret to the step... The 4 corners on the back that meet in the center swing out to form the corners/the square you see in step 4, the back side is then white (with a 45° rotated, inscribed, smaller square). What also took me a second to figure out: in step 6 only the top layer moves, you need to pull out paper from under the front leg and move it under the hind leg.
