Hi ginert,

This is the active link to the andrew.cmd.edu site now....http://www.bluepop.us/origami/

The models instructions are not in English though....but be sure to visit the link to the forum, as it has many many more instructions....eg.: a rooster, a wedding cake, groom etc.

There is another site for 3d origami...its more like a gallery of models. Here's the link http://www.oct.zaq.ne.jp/afabv702/ori.htm.

And of course there are books on 3d origami with exquisite models ranging from simple to complex....books on Amazon
All these books have instructions in English.

Good luck!!!

I folded the swan from the instructions on opane.com. I suggest you use normal copy paper and cut the length into thirds and the width into fourths. I averaged about 50 modules an hour while watching tv (so 10 hours in total), and another 5 hours for the assembly. (the second time it took me about 10-12 hours in total)

If you have any questions regarding the assembly process, just ask here and I/we will help you out :)

Here's another set of pictures for the swan on opane.com. Its not in English but the photos are good and I hope it will help you to complete your swan. Believe me the folding is fun and once you finish it, you will have everyone asking you to make one for them or teach them to make one. http://origami.paginas.sapo.pt/cisne.htm :)

I made one as a wedding present, I gave another one to my grandma and I gave one to my best friend's mom. I'll probably make another one once I get bored enough to fold the 500 triangles again :D
