wombat by Steven Casey diagram?

Post by franz »

For a friend of mine I´ve already folded a lot of animals - really a pleasure to see them on her table in the office :D

Now she is asking for a wombat: the one from Steven Casey (just google it) looks fine, but I can´t find folding instructions anywhere ... :(

Does anybody know where to find them or where to find another origami-wombat ?

Thanks
Franz

Besides a very simple pig-base wombat, I can't find anything. Would it be possible to modify a bear model, for example?
You could also try to contact Steven if you haven't already.
After the fall, we rise.

Gilad's site lists 3 designers of wombats along with where to find the diagrams. Morgan's uses a rectangle, Isham's uses two squares, and Casey's is in his personal collection (i.e. no diagrams that I know of). Honestly, Baltorigamist's suggestion to modify a bear or maybe a koala or something is probably your best bet. My other google searches haven't resulted in anything either, so chances are it's just not really a model that's been designed more than a handful of times. Sorry. :|
