I have done the crease pattern but the final result looks weird

Hi Hohimorgami2004, welcome to the forum.

There are many people here that could help you (and be willing to), but you'd need to be more specific. Who's the author? Where is the CP posted at or published? What is weird about your collapsed CP? And then maybe someone can help you.

Author is Robert Lang. CP is on here: https://langorigami.com/crease-pattern/ ... -opus-696/
I haven't tried folding it myself, and I would probably try the T-post generic (698), but I had heard of the model.

the model is folded in half by following the crease lines and the body and head looks quite weird

Not having folded this model myself, my best guess is that the flap at the bottom of the CP is swung backward and pleated to form abdominal segments on the underside.

I can second that, despite also never having folded it. Lang likes to do that in his models.
