Step 1 - begin from step 11 of the rock crab.

I cannot seem to find where the diagrams for the rock crab are, any hints?

I did a google search and it says both Markhor and the Crab (Shore Crab) are diagrammed in the OUSA convention book 1993. All models listed here: http://www.giladorigami.com/BO_OUSA93.html along with picture of Markhor

Does anyone know is the shore crab and the rock crab are one in the same?

just check if the step 11 or 12 of shore crab looks like step 1 of markhor.....i don't have this book with me so i am unable to tell you that. sorry.

If the rock crab is a mystery, is anyone familiar with the base the Markhor begins with?
