The wings are in 3D, yes.

Is it only step 203 that is troubling you, or is it the entire folding sequence for the wings (steps 203-235)?

The wings are relatively challenging, so my only advice to you is to take the steps very literally (there are no tricky folds; they are all relatively straight-forward) and try to replicate the next step as well as you can.

Hope it helped (a little bit.) :)

P.S. Don't post multiple posts relating to the same thing (being stuck on the wings) in 3 different topics.

By looking at the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9rCGrgJMd5g
you can see that the Bahamut has folded in a diferent way the legs and its fingers. Is it another version of the model, or is it posible to do those modifications from the Bahamut that is diagramed from the book?

94JED,
I used a ruler in that step. Doing it without one would take considerably longer. In fact, I have no idea how I would mark 1/5th without a ruler in that situation.

Whenever a diagram tells me to fold along nth division, I see it more of as a guideline. I just folded just above the quarter crease line. I ended up finishing the model without any problems.
Whenever I do complex Origami I get this sinking feeling.
