im having problems at step 118, i've never done an open sink in a shape like that! it doesn't look like the open sinks satoshi does in other steps! a video or some pictures will rock

Hi guys. Can you please help me a little with step 204? I'm not very good with crimping and I barely made it to this step but I reeeeeeeally want to finish this model. This probably looks very easy to you but no matter how I fold it, it still doesn't look anything like 205… :-(

@Naykon

That crimp is just a mountain and a valley fold, and the little zig-zag arrow shows how the paper will look after the crimp.

The pleats from the wings is going to be folded over to the left (the valley fold), but the bottom of the wings will not (the mountain fold)

Hope that helps.

My failed Divine Dragon

I have unsuccessfully completed the dragon. I stuffed up steps 106-108, 154-173 and the wings. My dragon looks like a crushed ball as the head and the wings are rip(I bloody raged)

Can some one help me?

@DragonX

Yes someone can help you, but what do you need help with more specifically?

@ Ragnorax
I need help with the divine dragon(bahamut) steps 154-173(head) and the wings

Well thats 20 steps for the head... is there a specific step that i can try to explain further or did you get stuck on step 154?

Well for step 154: you are pulling the point down and pushing the sides in along the creases already made. Then in step 155 you are reverse folding the triangle so that it is behind the other layers...

The wings are also about 35 steps so i dont know which steps you need help with...

I'd like to help you, but im not sure what you need help with? I can take pictures of my bahamut if that helps you with the wings?

@Ragnorax

To be more precise i stuffed up the head the corners didn't match it was uneven therefore i had to restart,
I continued with the stuffed head and my problem of the wings starts at step204 and onwards. The steps are confusing> my attempt didn't match the diagrams

and i tryed this one :D
What you do is:
You open out the crimps in the side of the flap. This will make the paper 3d.
Then wrap the layers around the layers to the front. Again, 3d.
To flatten the paper down, pleat the layers back into the model. Now, 2d.
Hope this helped.

elsix2004 wrote:i need help on step 104. it says "fold the top left corner to the right, while pulling out the complex of layers"

what complex of layers is he refering to?

i may have screwed something up on step 103 but it looks just like in the book

anyone know what to do???
I think he means the pleats on the side of the flap, pull out the flap, wrap it to the front layer, then pleat the remainder inwards.
Hope this helps.

I say that someone should post a video on here or on youtube in slow motion (unlike that guy on youtube who posted a video of him folding the Divine dragon in 2min becasue the video has been fast forward)

umm, i wonder howmany people can actually fold this dragon?
