Paper sword

I know this has already been posted, but I cant figure out the Katana by Kalei Anne Lindburg. I got everything up to step 12.

Hmm... when she made this diagram, it appears that she was new to diagramming... the symbols are all wrong! I'll try my best to help you

theres a different origami sword just as good as that one with easy diagrams. ill post a link if i can find it again

I think that insteed of using diagrams for a sword. It would be quicker to design your own one. a sword is a simple thing 1 piont and a hilt 1 quarter of the way up(ish). I think I will try this challange myself!

Here is a CP for a sword and few pictures of the model here.
I didn't succeed folding it from the CP. I'll be thankfull for help.

Here are some pictures of the finished sword. Here click the "next" button.
I am pretty sure that it is impossible to colapse this model flat.

Folde up along the horizontal crease going through what is almost the middle. then pleat the whole model along the vertical creases. Elis stretch the little flap along the creases (you have to pull out the flap a little in order to do this) then shape to taste.

I don't see the creases of the pleating on the c/p so I did it that way.

and... the katana by kalei looks a bit cooler than those models.......
