Noob Question about an Elephant...

Post by diemjay »

I have been trying to fold a baby elephant model I found on this link:
http://dev.origami.com/images_pdf/baby_elephant.pdf

I've made my bird base. Step one tells me to start with that then to 'sink'. Does this mean I should invert the point of the bird base? Step two tells me to 'reverse-folds'. And then by step three I am very lost because my I am holding in my hand does NOT look like the diagram.

I am sorry for being such a noob. I tried doing a seach but I didn't find elephant posts that dealt with a question of this level of NOOBishness. Sorry.

1st step is an open sink ...> search what an open sink is and how do do it.
then you will be able to take the two centre flaps made by the sink and reverse fold them so as the model looks like step 3.

Am I the only one thinking it rather looks like a rhino baby ?

Did you finish the model, and like your result?

Moderators: Shouldn't this topic be moved to the diagrams category?
