You can see, again the same shape of the base. No invention, just equations... But way from base to final model is long and hard, no disccusion.

I must be missing something - I didn't see a single explicit equation in the whole design process of that model...

What, you don't derive it from scratch every time? 
(Well okay, the lookup table is scribbled on the front cover of my notebook).
Now, imagine if violinists had to compute the resonant frequencies of the strings just to figure out where to place their fingers to get a particular note.

Here's my second attempt, folded from 22cm x 22cm of MC-treated double tissue paper. (My first attempt with Japanese foil turned out terrible...)
I fell in love with this model the moment I saw it, so I just had to try it.
I'm quite sure I got the hind part of the model right, but I'm not sure how the neck is done yet.

my third attempt which is far better than the second in my opinion
Folded from a 22cm square again. Maybe I should use a 1m square like Lang did to be able to shape all those details, but folding such large pieces of paper is such a pain....

Folding from a large sheet saves you pain in the long run, ie when you get to those finicky little details!
Looks great though, but I thought the hind legs here look rather cat-like instead of bull-like.

How do i get from the base tp the final form?
This is only the first cp ive done, so im not sure how to transform all the flaps

is flawed Also, I just realized I am 14-12 years late
