How can you start if you wan't to create an origami model? I have seen some incredibly complex models, but I have no clue how to get the idea of doing something like that. I mean, I wouldn't even be able figure out how to create a simple model of something and then there is diagrams which is just so complicated it's hard to se it is made of paper when it's finished.
I have read about crease patterns, and I know they are diagrams over folded lines on the paper. But I don't understand how to use them. And I don't know how they can simplify your work in designing a new model. How do you use them both when folding and when designing new models? But I have read that they, together with "technical origami", has increased the complexity in origami a lot.
How to come up with a model?
