Whatever methylcellulose is. Anyway, my paper's really light , flimsy looking, but suprisingly stiff. It goes sort of soggily pathetic if my folds aren't sharp enough. It sort of stiffens itself out though.

I would just like to say that box pleated models are a piece of cake. Its circle packing that is difficult. :)

I kind of got box pleating down. Finished folding brian chan's dragon (although had trouble with two of the feet's toes) and ryu zin 1.2. havn't tried that butterfly again yet. Maybe next week.
Also, to fold a cp, you basically precrease everything, and then collapse it all in 1 or 2 moves. For the brian chan dragon, I just collapsed one side and then the other, and then put the two together xP.
How hard is the shadow ninja?

I'm guessing the shadow ninja is very difficult, based on the looks of it.

It's like mini ryujin with a strangely posed person attatched. (am i thinking of the right model?)

Very hard then. Great if you want a challenge and (if you don't fail) an awesome result, but otherwise.....

I have never done any crease patterns before, but I´d like to learn folding from CPs. Do you know any CPs that are good to start with and not too hard for a first try?
