The following photos are showing steps 7-11.

That's what you should have in step 7:

Squash fold like indicated.
Your model should now look like this:

Squash fold on the marked lines:

Pull the trapped paper out:

Back to normal view, your model should now look like this:

Step 10, squash fold as indicated:

During squashing:

Now your model looks exactly like in step 11.

Hope that helps.

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I'm up to step 38. The diagrams are not clear about how to to step 38 and 39. Can someone show pictures of these steps? Thanks!

ummm...i need help with 44...how are you supposed to do that??

hello yungram92,

welcome :D

step 44 is identical to step 39; in step 39 you only pull around the single layer on the left - you see it on the video of therealchris. in step 44 you pull around the left and the right layer simultaneously.

the easiest way: take the two layers, the left and the right one, in the middle and raise them. automatically the "hidden" parts of the flaps, that are underneath, will pop in front. then turn the mountain-fonds into valley-folds (like in step 39) and you have pulled around the layers.

step 25

I gotten till step 25 and got stuck there. How ever I try, I do not seem to have the thing to swing down at 26 (it is held sideways). Can you help?

step 25 is an OPEN sink. if you sink correctly, you will free the flap for the next step.

thanks

You are supposed to wrap that tiny layer behind the other one. It is quite hard, but opening the model a little bit would probably help.

this is, what I have done - after one year of trying to perform step 63 ...

I produced a model only of the eyes, so that the model looked like in step 63. If I do remember correctly, I started with a triangle (half a square; two colors) to fold only the eyes. then I fummbled around with the model to practise the color change. if it is complicated for you to fold only the eyes: fold a fluffy up to step 63, then cut off the eyes - and unfold them. so you have a model that you can use to fold a bigger model only of the eyes.

I have done this, because the eyes on the fluffy are a little bit small - so it is hard to practise the color-change on this small eyes.

nevertheless: just try it - I managed to color-change the eyes while looking a football-match on television

When I first came up with those eyes, I was not sure I could easily do it myself; I just tore the eyelids off to see what it would look like.
