Thank you Franz :)
It must have taken you a long time taking those photos.
This is my attempt at the colour change:

I don't think the eye is supposed to move :? He will have his eyes below his nose
I give up. My Fluffy's eye is too chewed-up to make anything of it now :(

it seems that something went wrong with your try ... it is the same experience I have had

I also wanted to give it up, but: who am I if a paper is winning against me? especially, if I came so far folding the fluffy, with some really tricky folds inbetween.

so my hint:
really try it with the sample I described. it helped me a lot playing around with the sample (nothing could happen), than trying to fold the color change at the fluffy. once I understood how it works with the sample, it was a lot easier to fold the color change of the eyes.

I´m sure we will see a picture of your sucessfull fold :D

Hello Franz 8)
Thanks again for your help :)
It worked when I did it on a sample but when I tried on the bear, the eye moved. :o
I'll leave this bear as he is because his eyes are too shewed-up :(
I might try again if I fold another bear.
