I've shown a few things to people at work and in general, and I always seem to get one of two responses:
1. "Wow, that's awesome! You folded that out of paper??! Cool!"
2. "You have way too much time on your hands."
..nothing in between. Either they're amazed at the work or they're amazed I'm being so unproductive. I guess they think I'm not watching enough TV or something.
What's your experience showing your more complex work (the FIT, things made from CPs, polyhedrons) to the non-folding public?
