Steps 75 - 80 indicate that you have to partially unfold the model to achieve simultaneous pleats on two different planes.

Steps 99-100 introduce new mountain folds to shape the mane. The mountain folds are curved and serve as reference points for the pleats in step 100. Step 101 is a swivel-cum-pleat fold.

Hey thanks,
Made my first Lion, looks ok (mane problem), but I hope I'll do better on my next one, I guess that on complex models, you need to try and try again to make your model perfecto.
Peace :D

To insert a picture, look at the sticky topic: How to insert a picture -
viewtopic.php?t=721&highlight=pictures

Note that you have to upload the picture to the Web - you own Website, Flickr, and so on - before you can insert the link to the picture.

ON the other hand, you can share pictures privately with other folks , if they send you their email address.

I really wanna be able to fold Komatsu's. I saw a thread here months ago about some spanish guy analyzing its CP but I can't see it now for some reason. Uhh can anyone help? Sorry if I posted on the wrong thread, I'm still familiarizing myself with the boards. Thanks in advance! ^__^

Bumblefoot wrote:Hi, I was just wondering if anyone could help me with the Lion model by S. Kamiya?

I used the search function but couldn't find any help about the specific step I am stuck on.

It is not so much that I am having difficulty folding the model as it has been quite easy so far, but I can't work out what step 44 is even telling me to do.

It is step 44-
(Quoted from a new thread which was closed.)

Step 44 is a closed sink i believe, so just invert that entire flap inward.
