I'm trying to collapse it thanks to all I can see in this forum.
Could someone post a photo of the back of the model, please ? I wonder how the extra flap takes place.

I am still struggling with the wings. The base collapses to have wings that run from the body out to the edge of the paper. However when I see Kamiya's finished phoneix the whings folds are running nearly the same direction as the body (90 degrees from CP).

In addition to form the head and legs I have the edge portion folded the entire length as shown in the CP. In the final wing is this flap unfolded to extend the wing length?

I have seen some amazing wings folded lately not only of this phoenix but of eagles that are similar in construction. I was wondering if anyone can help me understand how to fold.

I don't know if you can see it clear or not, but you can find it on a video in youtube. I think you search SATOSHI KAMIYA [PHOENIX].
