hello, I have folded this model once before. Think of the squiggly lines as reverse folds. The purpose of the lines is to make the arm curve once the bace is collapsed. Try dividing a paper into eighths then try to reverse fold all eight layers. Once you have done this, unfold the model and you will see that the cp is simalar to the squiggly lines in the sephiroth cp.

I tried this model before also a loooong time ago!
...Except it was one of my very first cp's and didn't come out very well...
...I also folded it during school, without a picture of the finished model...

But anyways, when I collapsed the base, I found out that the legs were actually really, really short!

It took me a long time to realize that the legs only split from where they exit the pants legs.

*This probabily won't help you collapse the base- it's just one thing that bothered me while folding. (If I had the picture at the time, I probabily could have figured it out...)

Good luck!

Ive tried that model recently, and i miserably failed. The Cp looks quite easy, but i think its harder than its looks like, because in the photos of the finished model you can see that there are colour changes everywhere.
However, that part of the CP is quite simple. It consists only in a sinked zig zag, if im allowed to call it like that.
check the third photo. Its a movement something like that.

Has anyone folded this model. Im quite confused on the colour changes on the shoulders and how to bring the legs around. Any help will be appreciated and please post pics if you have completed this model.

Diagram?

Post by Son0fHobs »

I'm guessing with such an advanced model, that only the CP exists, is that right? There hasn't been a diagram published in any book has there? A friend wanted me to fold this for him, but with just a CP, I'm not sure I'm up to that level yet. But I'll give it a shot, so any advice is very welcome!

Btw, where can I find that CP?
