A little bit of information about what is troubling you with the step would be helpful.

The only advice I can give about the step is to make sure you have the folds where the diagrams tell you to have the folds. If you have the mountain and valley fold on the top layer where they are supposed to be the valley fold on the bottom layer should just fall into place.
