Help - Stephan Weber's Bull

Postby e-mo » June 22nd, 2010, 7:22 am

Hi All,

I am currently folding Stephan Weber's Bull and facing a problem with step 14. I checked the other steps..and it seems to be not that difficult...but again..I am already stucked with with 14. Once I did step 13..I dont seem to be able to slide the two flaps out. Any advise? Better if you could post a picture on how it should look like.

thanks,

Step 14:Slide out the two flaps

as you look at the model so far u need to gently pull the two flaps (at the rear) to the left whilst keeping the front flap where it is. Step 14 shows how it should look when you are done, persistence is the key. I have folded this model alot so any more problems just post back :)

I actually did try that already...but somehow, after step13 the layers are connected in a way...so I couldnt slide or pull it out.

Are you still stuck on this bit? I'm doing this fold at the moment, and almost at the bit you are/were stuck on. I'll take some pictures anyway.

First this is a great model, and the diagrams are really good, probably better than my pictures. Just make sure you fold step 13 in the middle of the inner hidden triangle and step 14 should work.

Execute step 13, open the model up a bit as you are executing step 14. You may have to work it a little, but don't worry if it is not perfect, this will be largely hidden in the final model

Here are some Photos:
Step 13 complete (i have pre-creased for step 14 and accentuated the hidden triangle)

Step 14 - In Progress (opening the model up before pulling the front two flaps forward)

Hope these help

stuck on hooves please help

Postby gshemar » September 12th, 2010, 2:40 pm

Hi I am trying to fold Stefan Weber's beautiful bull and I need some help with the hooves. It's from Tanteidan 11 and the steps I am having difficulty with are 23 and 24. I think I can fold all the other steps but I just don't see what the diagrams are showing for the hooves. Please can anyone help? I would really appreciate any help with these steps. Perhaps you could grab a scrap of paper and just do the hooves with some photos please? Or even an explaination would really help. Thanks in advance!

Hi, it seems I was too late coming here. I too am having trouble with steps 13-14 of the Weber bull. Can't figure out the pulling out of the 2 flaps. The pictures that showed how it was done is now gone so I am appealing to Maddoghoek to please repost your pics or anyone for that matter who can show me how its done. Thanks, thanks and Merry Christmas.

the dog has heard your cry. A lot was culled in my revamp of my photobucket, and those exact photos are now gone, but I will do my best to put some under the tree for christmas morning for you.

Wow, thanks maddoghoek for the pics. They helped a lot. Now, I can go back to folding it. I stopped folding it up to that point. Also saw some of your other works. Are those eric josiel gnomes? His work is awesome.
