I was wondering if you think I should attempt this fold. I am somewhat a beginner to crease patterns, but not to folding. This pattern looks simple enough. So, should I attempt it or not?

I think you should fold Jason's Luna Moth instead: http://scripts.mit.edu/~jasonku/index.p ... =lunamoth1

Yes Manuels diagrams are on the whole smooth folds .I never get stuck for long..and he is neat and doesnt try to be mundo the magicien with unnecessary fancy steps that are unfolded.Do it
