How do you set rotation snaps so the lines will be at perfect angles?

press ctrl for 90 degree and other angles. The angle measurements show up at the bottom of the screen when drawing a line with the pen tool.
Where it says (example) line segment - Angle 56.00 degrees, at the bottom of the screen.
