Origami Bookmarks (I mean real bookmarks, not web bookmarks)

Post by esato »

Does anyone know any origami bookmarks? I am looking for real bookmarks, not bookmarks to homepages!

I was reading Robert Lang´s "Origami Design Secrets" when I wondered if there was a good origami bookmark I could fold to use with ODS.

Once I came up with an elephant bookmark. Do you think it's worth diagramming? Would you like to fold it?

Thanks! Diagramming is in progress.

When I showed this bookmark to my family, nobody could recognise elephant in it.

their eyes must not have been conditioned by thousands of shapes and suggestion that a "ture" origamist would have been trained with when searching for the next great fold. or maybe we are just dillusional :)

Origamists as artists certainly have much more developped perceptive senses.

Btw, diagram of elephant bookmark is finished. Check my site.

Esato: You may check the similarity to elephants from ODS

Have fun!

You're welcome!

Unfurtunately that's the only bookmark I designed. But if I doodle something else I'll let you know.

Best regards,
