Yellow-headed parrot by Joseph Wu

Post by Joseph Wu »

Anne Lavin recently requested diagrams for a yellow-headed parrot, so
I designed one for her. What's more shocking, I actually diagrammed
it. (*gasp!*)

Anyway, Dose Magazine, one of Canada's national tabloid newspapers,
wanted an origami "holiday ornament". "Something non-traditional,"
they said. So I sent them the parrot. You can see it in the December
22 issue. The link to the online version is here:

Unfortunately, I accidentally sent an old version of my bio, which
makes it seem like Yoshizawa-sensei is still alive...oops!
Yes, I am that Joseph Wu. Not that it really matters. And please call me Joseph or Joe. "Mr. Wu" is my dad. :)

Wait....you diagrammed something???? Does this mean your book is coming out soon? :D

Thanks for sharing though - the rest of the magazine is quite an entertaining read too!
