off topic perhaps, but if it is a unique folding sequence derived from a published crease pattern is that an issue?

i would think it will always be an issue with copywritten material.....i remember a few months back some guy had made diagrams for what he called the "night hunter" by robert lang and it was basically a description of how to fold a published CP....needless to say lang made him immediately clarify that they were not official diagrams and were only an interpretation of the BASE of his night hunter. i think its safe to assume that without direct permission from the designer it is not okay to make your own diagrams for public use.

Sorry if I caused any confusion - the Nazgul that I folded were from an early draft of the official diagrams that Jason graciously let me use. As far as I know there aren't any unofficial diagrams of it out there.

Hello Everyone,

I'm not really sure how to reverse fold in step 14. I tried reverse folding it but it doesn't come up as the result in the next step. Could somebody please help me? I tried continuing with just winging the bit but it doesn't really work in later parts then.

Thanks!

well i just finished mine today...so i think i can help you out.....step 14 is more like a swivel fold.....youre going to swivel the flap aligning the left edge with the edge beind.....this creates the reverse fold at the top.....i hope that helps....but im not sure.....beware of step 25 and 26...that was the part i found to be the trickiest...........good luck!

I'm sorry Mixmastermarc16, I don't think I understand...is it possible for me to ask you to post photos please?

EDIT: I got something that's similar to a crimp. Is this correct and should there be another single rectangle layer/flap formed from this step?

Yes! I got something similar to what you said Mixmastermarc16! Now it looks right. Thanks!

On a different note, steps 25-26 look daunting. Do you have any recommendations on how approach this?

EDIT: Never mind, I got it. I needed to unwrap the entire piece and precrease everything though...RAWR.

thats exactly what i had to do......unfold everything and precrease, then things fell nicely into place....but i sure wish the precreasing had been included in the folding process diagrams.....still a great model though! such a great final product....my only complaint is the thiness of the front legs.....they dont realy support the model very well......but my paper was a bit thin so.....good luck!
