Origami Mountain Lion?
Hey guys, I am switching schools next year, and I wanted saw that our mascot is a cougar (mountain lion). I thought it would be a cool model to fold. So I looked it up, and nothing but an undiagramed model by Robert Lang. Do you guys know of any good models? I am not good at CPs, so diagrams would be best. Thanks.
I finally got it to say something under my posts!

Re: Origami Mountain Lion?
(Hopefully a Moderator can move this the the model search category)
My suggestion would be David Brill's lioness in "Brilliant Origami". Big cats have a pretty general body shape, so with a little improvisation I think it would work just fine. Or, if your looking for something more challenging, there a a few people that have reverse engineered Sipho's Onitsikawa Tiger; you could try your hand at that.

Lioness in safari origami might work.

Sipho's Onitsuka tiger looks a little advanced for me. Goodidea about the lioness thing, cheetah key work too. Maybe I will just search big cats and see what I can find.

Are you sure you didn't just watch the video continuously until you found out the folds he was making.Mir Numaan wrote:i have reverse engineered Sipho's Onitsuka tiger. PM me your email an i will send you diagrams
After all, he did do a stop-motion folding of the entire model.

Re: Origami Mountain Lion?
the stop motion doesn't show how to get the reference points.
