Origami shrek?

Post by NeverCeaseToCrease »

Hi!

The end of the school is approaching way too fast and I'm planning gifts for my friends that are going to different high schools. The only ones I need left are: A model of Shrek, and a model of a figure skater/ice skater. Both are inside jokes, if you're wondering.

So, if anybody has designed one, has found one made by somebody else, or has a tip, please tell me. I know the end of the school year isn't that close but time flies, and anything helps, right?

Thanks in advance!

Google had a few hits:

Jason Ku Ice Skate: http://jasonku.mit.edu/iceskate1.html

Scrapbook Ice Skate: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i00tWkUEBS8

There are other solutions

Hm... it's not exactly what I was looking for... but still helpful!

I was looking for a complete shrek, with a shirt, fingers, etc. However, the head is always the hardest part, and I'll keep your suggested one in mind!

And for the figure skater, I have folded Jason Ku's model before. I'm sorry if I sound picky but I'm looking for a complete figure. I'm almost done designing one, but I'm stuck trying to figure out the head, which, as I said before, is the hardest part and the only part that I really need help with. I'm trying to make a head with a hairbun, similar to Yoo Tae Yong's sumo wrestler goo.gl/69aEYh but box pleated.

Again, I appreciate your help!
