Looking for simple patterns to fold with an A4

Post by Althis »

For a while now I've been meaning to sneak a fold sheet tutorial on the background of my CV. I feel RH people receive so many of these daily, and they probably have no end for them other than being thrown out after used. So I wanted to give a use to the paper of my CV after they are done, and perhaps create something beautiful in the process as well.(If they like that initiative from me that is also a nice bonus!)

So I needed a model that:
  • Can be done with a single A4 sheet, no cuts
  • Is simple, since I will have to turn the tutorial into a written tutorial on the paper itself
  • Is still kinda cute model(no boxes or geometric shapes)
I've searched the internet a bit, and this was the best I found, but it is a bit complex. So instead of wading endlessly through a world I don't know much of, I thought it best to ask the specialists(you) if you have any suggestions!

If you make the first instruction to fold over the edge to make a square, you can then continue with almost anything you want. (Although you might want to pick a model that hides the extra strip somewhat, of course.) Edit: Corrected to remove the assumption that the first “real” fold would be on the diagonal.
