Is there any cherry blossom model out there that you would recommend?

Looking for a specific model? Here's the place to start.

I'm looking forwards to making a bonsai made up of cherry blossoms, so I would like to know if there are any cherry blossom units that you guys would recommend.

I don't have that many recommendations. I've only folded two cherry blossom models.

The traditional cherry blossom, which needs cutting: https://en.origami-club.com/flowers/sakura2/

And also, Cherry Blossom Pop-Up Card, created by Jeremy Shafer. Easy to fold and pretty cool, but not very useful for making a bonsai :P: https://youtu.be/re4gORCe8yE

You could also fold the bonsai as a single model. Tanteidan magazine #171 includes diagrams for Tree Free and Easy! created by Toshikazu Kawasaki. You can see the model folded as a blossomed cherry tree here: https://origami.jp/en/magazine/171/
