Sailing ship by Ty Sovan

Post by saj »

Hi there,

Just stumbled across this beautiful ship by Ty Sovan. I remember it also has a worthy mention in Origamido.

Here is a picture of it from Nic Terry's website :Click here.

If anyone knows where I can get the diagrams from, or is kind enough to borrow them to me please PM me.

Thanks,

Saj

I like Patricia Crawford's ship better.

Stuckie,

I've never seen that one. Do you have a link to picture?

Oh, man. I've seen them before. I know Sovan has created many ships, but I can't remembe where I have seen diagrams.

I've just browsed Robert Lang's "Origami in Action" and found a similar looking boat in it. sadly I don't have access to a scanner right now, but you probably may own that book. If not, buy it, it's worth every dime :)

greetings

Thanks for the recommendation, but I've already tried that model! I just thought the sailing boat by Sovan had that certain 'class' .

I tried to make it and this is the result.

I think it's different from original in last 5 steps.

Wow, that looks stunning! Any chance of whipping some simple diagrams up?! :D
