One Oral-B commercial has a man fold a tooth. I'm sorry I have no video of said commercial, but does anyone who has seen this commercial know how to fold the tooth?

I've not seen that spot, but I think one of the most suitable base for a tooth should be the frog base, that has 4 long flaps (good for the tooth roots) and one big multilayer flap that can be blowed and shaped as a tooth body.
I'm thinking of a molar.

I saw that commercial too, but I had no idea if it was even possible. I thought it was just a special molding made to look like a folded paper tooth.
Whenever I do complex Origami I get this sinking feeling.

That is definitely possible. With a video of the commercial you should be able to slow it down and see exactly how it was done

I don't know the commercial, but in the Origami Christmas Book there will be a diagram for a detailed tooth.

Oh, I forgot to mention-to me it looks like the tooth is made from a bird base, not a frog base-they are sort of the same thing anyway, but with a bird base seems like it would be easier to modify the center into a tooth cap.

One thing i noticed in the commerical though is the blintz seems to be completely unnessecary. I think its just for effect to reveal the photo at the end.

The commercial actually came on a few minutes ago. I'm carefully looking at the unfolding process, and I'm trying to get a final matching result.
If I get something, I'll post about it.
