Looking for a carrot

Post by Smokeblue »

Hi,

I just learned to fold Maekawa's rabbit, and would love to find a model of a carrot to pair it with. I'm making them as a Christmas gift, so time is an issue (i.e., no shipping a book from Japan). Besides which, I'm a poor student, so I can't really afford a book, anyway :-P. If anyone is aware of a free diagram, however, it would be much appreciated!

Thanks,
Aaron

Thanks for the link :-). I'd actually already found this one, and was keeping it as a fallback. I was hoping for something a little more advanced, though. Something like the one pictured here: http://www.giladorigami.com/P_Rabbit_Ca ... hizawa.JPG

Maekawa's rabbit has a beautiful 3D shape to it (http://www.giladorigami.com/P_Rabbit_Ma ... enuine.JPG), so I was looking for something a little less flat to complement it.

Thanks for looking!

Lol, ouch! That might be just a bit more advanced than I was hoping for ^_^. Even with a diagram, it'd probably give me trouble, but I'm certainly not brave enough to attempt the CP. Thanks again for looking, though.

I appreciate all the help :-D.

Why don't you try to design a carrot yourself? One like Yoshizawa's wouldn't be hard to replicate.
