I can't find it!! I found it randomly about half a year ago, on a website that I have Visited since (a bookmark) and all trace of it has been erased.

Can you find a picture? Maybe someone has folded it...or use the wayback machine to see the old link (I think that's what it's called)

I personally like guspath's but there isn't a diagram for that one anymore Harpseal. :l There is one for his not-really nine tailed fox though...

And that one's cool Kafar! The base looks really flap-crazy to me...

That one Kafar says is the best is the best, it rocks!! Is there any way of making it? (in order of what I expect: crease pattern, photo tutorial, video, diagrams)

Kyuubi designed and folde by me, inspired by Guspath Go Ninetail Fox,
folded from one uncut square - boxpleat
Just a test fold, when find better paper and some time, I'll fold final version :D

I changed the head, there's a crimp on the head to make it more foxy,
Final version will be from bigger paper - so there's gonna be place for shaping

That's beautiful Kafar! There are no words I can think of to describe it.
And so many layers (yet it still came out thin, very impressive :))! Do I spy a box-pleated model?
I like the head--its simplicity makes a sort of foil to the rest of the body.
Is it wrong of me to ask if there will ever be a diagram for this Nine tailed fox? I want to fold it!:D :P

Oh wow! That new one really matches the naruto fox (assuming that's what you went for judging by your avatar ;)).
I personally like the test fold one, because of its simple-looking face and character, but the new one looks awesome. I can't wait until that's made in paper. :D

I'm crossing my fingers on that "maybe maybe" by the way. I hope its the "maybe maybe" I'm hoping for! But then again, with all those layers and pleats...maybe not right? :P

It is EXTREMELY GOOD!

some problem/statements

A: Pleeeaaassseee! [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o< [-o< make diagrams! (and put a link on this thread of where to find them,

B: your image of it as a finished model only has 6 tails. There is probably a reason for this (a very good one at that) it just struck me as odd. Still, the number of tails it has is a multiple of three and 9=3 squared.

That was random Mathsyness, but, origami has a lot of maths in it. (weak excuse for a silly moment of slight geekyness.  )

it has 9 tails, if you looked into flickr picture, there are notes, which tales are doubled, cause oripa draws in 2D, it only shows models that are flat. there is 1 tail going down, 2 - 4 o'clock shown as 1 (the same way legs are matching up), 1- 3 o'clock, 2 -2 o'clock, 2 - 1 o'clock and 1 straight upward :D I hope this clarified everything :P

How are the diagrams going? Just making something like that is hard; 9 tails is enough to find seriously annoying. If you make a 9 tailed fox, would it be possible to give it a mane, as all the fanciful drawings of 9 tailed foxes have manes and the pokemon ninetails has a mane too. I don't know if this is to much to ask (it isn't, this is a suggestion, not a request) but it just seems a good idea. :?
