Hello everyone!

Post by ginshun »

First post, just in to say hello.

I have been folding for quite a while, but have just really started up again since watching "Between the Folds" (which is an amazing documentary by the way).

I have to say that this forum is a great resource, and I look forward to seeing more of the crazy models that you guys make. I am not near the level of a lot of the people here, but will be working on it.

Here is last nights project - Lang's Parot

Not a bad rendition of the Parrot. I would recommend bending the legs backward a bit to get a good perching pose, though.

And welcome to the forum. If you have any questions, I and the other members will be glad to help you.
After the fall, we rise.

You should make it out of colored paper
Origami is like food. You can love it and be obese. Or you can hate it and be and be a"cute". Or you can be a fail and your just that. A fail. Flickr : http://www.flickr.com/photos/76647015@N08/?saved=1

Parchment paper is the best thing I have to fold with at the moment, otherwise he'd be colored.
