Hello everyone! I have been fascinated by origami since I was a child, and have dabbled off and on a few times in my life but am looking to actually improve and really LEARN this go 'round as an adult in my 30s. I am at that intermediate hump where I just can't wrap my head around some diagrams I can almost do, so I thought maybe checking out posts here and befriending other origamists for support might be one way I can move forward. Ideally down the road I will get more of the math and ability to "see" how a model transforms, but really for now I think my best bet is to put in the time and try different models, etc. Still, getting stuck is frustrating. I really like animals and creatures, but also appreciate modular and geometric works in a different way. Besides origami, I am interested in toy collecting and photography of such, especially Japanese vinyl. I have a huge glow in the dark sofubi collection. I look forward to getting to know some boardies here!
