Hello everyone

Post by balance »

Hello to all.

I hope that everyone is well. I'm new here, just wanted to say hi :)

I did origami as a kid with my mom. I recently started folding again, haven't done so in a long time and am enjoying doing so. I'm still at a beginner level though. I find it relaxing and also it's sort of a nice way to remember the things that I did with my mom when she was around. I look forward to learning from all of you.

Thank you all, have a nice day! :)

Welcome Balance,
Origami can be as complex or as simple as you need it to be. It can also be an excellent way to keep your hands busy and connect to people in the present and in the past. I like to design easy to intermediate models with a focus on interactive models, ones that can invert or fold flat or pop. Are there any particular models you wish to explore or remember folding? I am happy to point you towards any that are similar or in a similar difficulty range.

Hello Grace159,

Thank you so much. I am concentrating on folding flowers for the time being. I used to fold animals and birds of all sorts. I'm enjoying the flowers and am looking forward to progressing in this area. What you do sounds very interesting. I look forward to reading your future posts. Thank you again. :)
