I am 19 years old, and just recently finished my freshman year at college, studying mathematics.
I have been reading this forum for over a year now and I thought it was time to create an account.
I do go to the Origami irc channel on occasion, so you might be able to talk to me there.
I had my first experience with origami when I was 9, and I folded a paper crane, I didn't really fold much more complicated stuff until recently when I got a few good books and good paper. I would still consider myself a very novice folder.
My favorite paper to use it Japanese-foil, but I am planning on making some double tissue paper whenever I get a few good square templates.
My other interested include video games (of course!), more specifically, I like shmups more than any other genre.
I also like to do papercraft, just recently getting into that as well.
I have some experience with various other crafts, like beadweaving, macrame, and balsa wood models.
I hope to be folding more stuff and taking some pictures soon so you all can tell me how sloppy my models look
