Hi :)

Post by peachie03 »

Hi everyone,

I prefer not to use my real name, so feel free to address me as 'peachie'.

I am from Canada. I've been learning origami and folding different things since I was a little girl. My sister taught me a lot of different things, folding stars, cranes, lillies, hearts, and the simple stuff. As the years progressed, I learned more on my own but I still don't have the skills to master the very complex folds :(

With an increasing collection of origami books, I've fallen in love with a lot of different folding types from different places. My most recent book is from Hawaii; learning how to fold Hawaiian-themed things :) still trying to learn the plumeria!

Welcome to the forum.
Might that book be one of those by Jodi Fukumoto? (The only explicitly Hawaiian origami books that I know of)

Thank you :)

And yes that book is by Jodi Fukuoto. It's the first book, 'The Guide to Hawaiian-Style Origami'. It's quite interesting! Really enjoying it :D
