Where to promote Blogs????

Guys

Most of us do blog about one thing or the other. I also have a new blog on Origami, just need to know that where do you guys promote your blog in order to get traffic. What are the best ways/sources to get traffic to a blog...

Here are some ideas:

• Getting origami sites and other blogs to add a link to your blog.
• Using social network plugins so people can "like" or "tweet" your posts.
• Creating a twitter account, a Facebook group or something like that, where people can join and interact in some way. Maybe just by receiving updates about the blog.
• Posting diagrams, or photo-diagrams, in your blog that you can then ask in sites like Origami Resource Center to link to them. Remember you must have the neccesary legal rights over the model and diagrams in order to do that.
• Announcing updates in origami forums or mailing lists.

One tip... I checked out your blog and noticed you have a lot of pages just saying something like "coming soon". I your case, I would hide those pages for now or complete them before I start promoting the blog. Visitors usually don't like the sense of an incomplete blog. Know what I mean?
