And I am going home to Oz for some decent weather and my doggies on the 26th June 8)
But I may come back again one day- and even to another convention.

They are so much fun- you know next year is the biggie, 40 years of the BOS?

:idea:I look forward to contributing to lots of fervent threads and intellectual origami discourse within the forum, where ever I might be.

Hi!

I haven't ordered any tickets yet, but I'm counting on going! How can I miss it when Saj, Mark and John will be there? (Won't you? :P )
I just have to decide wether to stay at the convention site or at a hostel. Depends on my economy I think ;)
And I have to meet Paula again.. she took me under her wings when I went to my first BOS convention in Bristol 04.
Can't wait!

Yes, of course I'll be there, getting more snaps for the forum gallery :D And Anine, I'll teach you how to finish that flower I started to teach you at the convention.

Will be nice to see everyone there - from the little I know Bristol is more picturesque than Leiceser, so that should be fun.

Flower? Once you said it was a box.. not that I remember anymore what it was. Always nice to go to a convention and know you have an eager teacher at hand ;)

I thought the same thing when I was waiting for the Leicester convention. I managed to meet Anna (origami_8), Gerwin (daydreamer), Alex (Alexandre), Anine, Ravi (Ravi Apte) and of course the regulars including BOS editor Nick Robinson, Dave Brill (who kindly taught Anna and me his flexicube model), Dennis Walker (from the Origami Database project), John McKeever (JMck), Mark Leonard (mleonard) ...

Also got my BOS group photo through the post today - thanks Robin!

Oh nice, a flowerbox! Is it from a single piece of paper or a modular construct?

Few people are as weird as a group of paper folders :?

It's awkward, but if you see any names you recognise (we all wear badges) please come over and say hello. My first convention was in 1984 and I've been to every one since!
